To Dream The Impossible Dream
Often the happiest people in the world are those with the least... rich only in their Faith, Love and Hope. The meek & humble that follow a dream of goodness, love and mercy. Ultimately these are those that shall Inherit the earth.
.
For there is no greater wealth than having the Spirit of God. It moves mountains, changes hearts... and gives life eternal. All the rest is dust. I'm guessing that's why the Lord made the pavement in Heaven... out of gold. He was making a point.
.
Peter, the disciple said... Silver & Gold Have I None... But Such As I Have I Give You... In The Name Of Jesus Christ Of Nazareth Rise Up & Walk. Acts 3:6
.
In my 50 years as a missionary, the most sincere men and women of God that I have seen... didn't try and hoard their wealth... or blessings... but instead they shared what God gave them, to get out The Word and reach the world for Christ. They have lived simply and loved greatly... because they sought a better country... knowing this world was not their home.
.
Sadly... many a movement has died when it lost sight of that Heavenly goal and instead became satisfied with the things of the world. When the praise and flattery of men... became more important than the approval and calling of God. Colossians 2:8
.
As for me and my house... we are keeping the pavement (wealth) in perspective... knowing that it is simply a tool and a means to get us to our Heavenly destination.
.
Our riches are in Heaven... and the best sample of that... here on earth... is in the love, hope and faith we can bring to those around us.

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
Jesus, the same yesterday today and forever.
