40 years ago when I 1st came to Japan as a missionary... it was a very low time in my life. At a meeting in the mountains I saw an ant trying to carry a piece of food up a wall. The food was about 3X the size of the ant and it seemed like a fools folly for the ant to try and get this huge chunk up the wall. He must have tried and dropped the that load about 50 times... but he wouldn't give up. As I sat there in wonder at his persistence... on the last try... he made it. WOW! It spoke so loudly to me... To Keep Fighting... And Not Give Up.

40 years later and I'm still here.
I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
