Personally... I think the Lord says what He means... and means what He says... and when He said... It was evil before The Flood... and it’s going to be evil again before He Returns... I Believe Him.

Bet old Noah was having his issues with the folks there... much like the God's children will be having troubles before the Lord returns. “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” Matthew 24:21
.

And beyond that... I can’t help but wonder if the locals weren’t about to nail ol’ Noah and his family... and then the Lord stepped in with the flood and washed ‘em all away.

One thing is for sure... if only 8 were saved in the flood (out of millions... if not billions) ... and Christ’s return is going to be a repeat... might not those numbers mean that there is a lot of folks (if not most of them) heading for trouble.

Much I don’t know... but all I have seen in my 70 years teaches me that we are in the last chapter of the book. Good to know how the story ends... and... Good To Stay Close To The Author.
