What an inspiring thing it is to look back, at a long life lived for Christ. Lots of bumps and bruises... heartbreaks and pain... BUT... It Was Worth It All.

50 years ago today I argued with this girl about Jesus. She read me John 3:16 over and over. I told her I was sick of the hypocrisy I had seen in religion and she said, "forget religion, churches, groups... this is the Word of God... just believe Him." Finally I prayed to receive Christ into my heart and life and soul... and it completely changed me.

It was the best decision I ever made.
.
Now looking back through eyes somewhat dim... I am so thankful I gave my life to Him. He's taken me places I could have never dreamed and allowed me to do things I could have never imagined possible.

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
