I remember being a young man completely disillusioned with my parents church. I was disgusted with all the hypocrisy. One day someone came and witnessed to me and I argued with all the lies I'd swallowed... and shared the hypocrisy I'd seen. This girl took her Bible and said... "look... these are the Words of Jesus"... "He's not a liar"... "this isn't some group or organization...These Are Christ's WORDS!" And she read me John 3:16.

Well she got my attention... but I still argued... and finally she said... "look... just say this prayer with me... and if after that you still don't want to hear it... I'll shut up." So I closed my eyes, bowed my head and asked Jesus to come into my heart.

BOOM! That just changed everything. I Felt Such Love and Care and Warmth and Hope! WOW! And I stoped arguing. That was 50 years ago... and what a joy Jesus has been to me all these years.

All the preaching AGAINST stuff... can't compare to just having someone meet and receive Christ. The Proof Is In The Pudding... and Christ Is The Pudding!

You Want To Win The World... Give 'Em Jesus.
Let The Light In & The Darkness Will Flee Of Itself!

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
