His Kingdom Is Not Of This World
He could have called down an army of angels to destroy his enemies... but that wasn't the plan.

The plan was to save us all... and that meant... that He needed to die. The lamb of God, given as a ransom for our sins.

700 years before Christ was born... Isaiah prophesied every detail of Christ' death and sacrifice.

Isaiah 53: 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. 5 He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not His mouth.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment... He was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was He stricken.

That's Christ! and... One Day Soon His Kingdom Will Come... And Every knee Shall Bow... And His Will... WILL Be Done. That's gonna be a good day... a very good day!

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
