It's Almost Comical How Wrong People Can Sometimes Be... When They Don't See The Heart.

The best example is Samuel seeking out who would be the new King of Israel. He went through all of Jesse's sons... and none of the boys got the nod. Finally they had one little brother out in the field... little ruddy David. Surely it couldn't be him... But It Was.

When God is going to make someone great... He usually makes them nothing 1st... like Moses who had grown old as a shepherd out in the desert. Or Saul who was struck blind... before he became Paul the Apostle.

God takes the foolish things of the world and uses them... to show that it's Him... In Them.
"Nobody Noah" building a boat...
"Sightless Samson" grinding grain...
Etc... Etc... Etc.

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
