This is Joe... and Joe represents every man, women and child on earth. And guess what? We're All Condemned To Death & Hell.
.
In the beginning... the Lord made a deal with Adam and Eve. He gave them the most wonderful place to live... where there was no death... no sorrow or evil. There was only one big, fat rule... don't eat from the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil. If they did... God warned them... "In The Day You Eat From That Tree... You Will Surely Die". (Genesis 2:17)
.
Sadly they ignored the warning... and guess what... the Lord wasn't joking... They Disobeyed and... They Died... and so have all their descendants ever since.
.
Death Wasn't Necessary "IF" they had just believed the Lord and obeyed what He said.
.
Thing is... God wasn't finished yet. He Had a Plan for Man. His Word About Death Was Set In Stone... But... So Was His Overall Plan.
.
He knew our only hope was a reprieve... a Pardon... But That Pardon Came At a Terrible Price. Someone had to take the Fall for us All. Someone Had To Die For Our Sin.
.
If you've got kids... or you know anyone who does... you'd know a parent would do anything for their child... even die to save them. And that's what our Heavenly Father Did. He came to earth in the form of a wee baby boy... walked our roads... ate our food... suffered as we suffered... lived as we lived... and finally, Being Sinless... He Died as We Die... Taking The Punishment For Us All. It Was A Gift... The Greatest Gift Ever.
.
All That is required to Receive That Gift, is to acknowledge His Sacrifice and Love For Us All... Not That Tough... But believe it or not... many... if not most... reject His Gift... clinging to the Sin of Adam & Eve... thinking they know better than God. Which was what pretty much got us into this mess in the 1st place.
.
Enough Said. You Want The Pardon? You want Heaven? It's There For The Taking. John 3:16 Receive and Believe In The Lord and You Will Be Saved. Acts 16:31

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
Jesus, the same yesterday today and forever.
