October 7th
There are a lot of really good shepherds.pastors and teachers out there. People in it for the right reasons... The souls that they can help and win to the Lord.

Often they are not the most learned of folks... but since when did a shepherd need a college degree. Jesus's disciples were unlearned and ignorant men. Acts 4:13 What they do need... is a heart that loves The Lord.... & The Word Of God... & God's Children.
.
By their fruits you will know them. Matthew 7:15-20 A good shepherd will be sacrificing and loving and giving and caring and laying down their lives to help God's children. They will faithfully feed God's Good Word to those in their care.

A wolf in sheep's clothing will be manipulative, selfish and cunning for personal gain. You'll hear a lot about what they think... and they'll sadly twist the Word to fit their personal desires. Sorry... It Happens.

It's Good To Know What You've Got... and remember... if you've got someone who is out to lunch... know the Lord is not like that. He gave everything for you... He even died to save you.

It's also good to know what we each should be. For we are all shepherds to someone. We Are All Our Brothers Keeper. Genesis 4:1-13
Good Shepherds
I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
