Christ brought to the forefront that Loving God and Loving Others was The #1 Commandment. Matthew 22:37-40

Instead of hating our enemies... He taught us to love our enemies... and do good to them. Luke 6:27-36

Some say it's unrealistic to live like that... and I guess if you're putting all your eggs in the basket of this life... then you're right... BUT...

He showed us there is another world to come... The Kingdom of God... and that we need to live for that world and not this one. Matthew 18:21-23 Matthew 6:33

When they were getting ready to kill Him... He said... "My kingdom is not of this world: if My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered to those that hate me: but now is My kingdom not from hence." John 18:36
.
So I guess it all comes down to which basket you are putting your eggs into... this world... or The Next. As For Me and My House... Our Eggs... Our Treasure... Is In Heaven.

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
