On January 31, 2021, we lost... and Heaven gained... a precious and very dear soul. Noriaki Morohashi (Aki-chan as he was known), along with his dear wife Yukari had been a huge encouragement to my wife when she first found Jesus.

For almost 50 years he was a beautiful sample of the Lord's love, care, and faithfulness. He Did What He Could. Mark 14:8
.
"He fought the good fight, he finished the course, he kept the faith: and now there is laid up for him a crown." 2Timothy 4... and... What a wonderful crown there is... that awaits this kindhearted man of God.

Since Aki's passing... we have lost a number of other dear missionaries here in Japan... each precious... each wonderful in the eyes of the Lord. Here on earth their names were only known to a few... BUT... In Heaven they will shine forever. Daniel 12:3

What a privilege to have known each one.

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
