Christ Always Wins
That's Why... To This Day... The enemy & his minions... Absolutely Hate The Cross. It Quietly Whispers... You Lose... Christ Wins!
.
In life... we all have those times when we... God's Children... look like we are losing... that we are defeated... down... and done for. BUT... Remember This... God Gets His Greatest Victories Out Of Seeming Defeat... And He Never... Ever Loses.
.
What greater defeat could there have ever been than Jesus being killed... murdered... crucified... but it wasn't the end of the story. He Rose From The Grave & Saved Us All!
.
So... no matter what you're going through... REMEMBER... it's not the end of your story either.
.
The End Of Your Story Is Victory... Redemption... Love... Joy... Happiness... Peace... & Safety.
.
I remember being a young missionary of 20 in the port city of Tampico, Mexico. Sick, penniless and having just been robbed of everything I owned. We'd had wonderful fruit... reaching and helping hundreds of people... but my life was a mess. Sick with pneumonia... we went to the beach and I came upon these verses... Romans 8:35-39. As I read them... tears rolled down my face... and a conviction was born into my soul.
.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
.
That was 50 wonderful years ago. What a life Christ has given me. What A Victory Out Of Seeming Defeat!

Jesus Always Wins (Lyrics)
[Verse 1]
Sometimes I’ve traveled a rocky road
And had to carry some heavy loads
But through pain, sickness and loss
There Was Victory In The Cross
[Pre-Chorus]
You know... the enemy hates the old cross
Because it shows he has already lost
It whispers... “Your time... sucker... is done!”
Christ the King has already won!
[Chorus]
Jesus always wins
And nothing can separate us from Him
Not death... nor pain... nor SWORD
Can separate us from Our LORD
Even when we lose, we win
Because it draws us closer to Him
It renews our hearts and minds and souls
And reminds us that Heaven Is Our Goal
[Verse 2]
You think you’ve had it hard
Let me show another card
Jesus was whipped and mocked and killed
Yet He chose to die upon that hill
[Pre-Chorus]
That’s why the enemy hates the old cross
Because it shows he has already lost
It whispers... “Your time... sucker... is done!”
Christ the King has already won!
[Chorus]
Christ always wins
And nothing can separate us from Him
Not death... nor pain... nor SWORD
Can separate us from Our LORD
Even when we lose, we win
Because it draws us closer to Him
It renews our hearts and minds and souls
And reminds us that Heaven Is Our Goal
[Bridge — steady build]
No matter what may come
We are servants of the Son
No matter the hardship, no matter the loss
Victory was won upon that cross
[Final Chorus — confident, lifted]
Jesus always wins
And nothing can separate us from Him
Not death... nor pain... nor SWORD
Can separate us from Our LORD
Jesus always wins
And nothing can separate us from Him
Not death... nor pain... nor SWORD
Can separate us from Our LORD
[Outro]
Jesus always wins
And nothing can separate us from Him
[Instrumental ending]
I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
Jesus, the same yesterday today and forever.
