What Will We Leave Behind
Many folks will never read the Bible... BUT... they will read Christians... our lives... our sample. They sense that we are representatives of the Kingdom of God. Luke 17:21
.
I can remember from my childhood... every person that was kind to me... that helped me when I was down or hurt or discouraged... they made a HUGE difference in my life. They showed me that God Was Real... That Love Was Real. Sadly I can also remember those who were cruel or mean and heartless... they showed me that evil was real. Big Difference Between The Two.
.
Most wonderfully I remember the sincere folks who sacrificed and gave their lives for the Lord. The sample they set... the dedication... the love and care they showed. Often through hardship... often through sacrifice... But Always Loving.
.
Then there were those who were supposed to be Christians... who lived like the world. Their sample was cold... they made me question all that I had read or heard about Christ. If Christ was real... If He Was Love and truth and mercy... why was His representative... cruel and mean and selfish... tricky, deceitful and dishonest. It didn't add up.
.
Bottom Line... Christians need to be aware that they are Ambassadors of The Kingdom of God. They need to know... That the only Bible the world will ever read... is the one bound in shoe leather. You & Me... Our Lives... How We Live!
.
What Will We Leave In The Footsteps Of Our Lives? What will Our Epitaph Be. Thank God for so n so... He brought me to Jesus... He loved me... He Cared... He lifted me. Or... will they say... thank God that scumbag is gone.
.
What Will Folks Remember About Us? As the old saying goes... "Everybody Brings Joy Into This Life... Some When They Come... Some When They Go."

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
Jesus, the same yesterday today and forever.
