The devil is the father of lies... (John 8:44) and he'll do anything he can to ruin you. He'll promise you the world and give you husks. He'll ask for everything you've got... and give you nothing that lasts.

On the other hand... Jesus Is The Father of Truth... and Love & Mercy. He will do anything He can to help you... and save you and rescue you... He would even die for you... and He Did.
.
In the balance... is the life and death choice that you make. Who To Believe... Who To Follow... Who To Trust.

That is the bottom line of your life... WHO Do You Give Your Heart To! It's not a church or a building or any group. It's Just Jesus... or the world.

I was a young agnostic and argued with this Christian girl for about an hour. I pointed put all the hypocrisy I had seen and the evil in religions. I was very well versed. She was very patient with me and kept coming back to the Bible... John 3:16. She pointed out to me... what I said above... that it was just Jesus... And He Wasn't a Liar.

Finally she said... "Just pray with me for Jesus to come into your life... and if... after that... you don't want to hear it... I won't say anymore." So... I closed my eyes... held her hands and prayed this very simple prayer. "Jesus please come into my heart and life... and forgive me for all my sins and mistakes. Help me to see you... and know you... and fill me with Your Spirit so I Can Understand You... In Jesus Name Amen."

The effect of that prayer was profound... all my questions and arguments just vanished... and all I could do was smile. 50 Years later... and I'm still smiling.

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
