Many a good man or woman of God has Sold Out for a Sweet Deal!
.
Little did they know they were being played by the enemy of us all.
.
There is nothing wrong with money... or a good this or a good that... BUT what's required to get it?
.
Don't Sell Your Soul For A Load Of Manure. Keep it Clean... Keep It Clear... And Keep It Simple.
.
Remember the Joy Of Your Salvation. Psalms 51:12
.
It Is That Joy That Is Your Strength! Ps. 28:7
.
Remember all that God has done... and the great life that He has given you.
.
Such love is worth giving up everything for. Matthew 13:45
.
Stay True... Don't Let The Tricks Of The Enemy... ROB YOUR SOUL!
Colossians 2:8
Keep Your Eye Upon The Donut
Listen to the song:
Keep Your eyes Upon The Donut
A Little PS...
The reality is... it's all pretty simple. Jesus made it easy for folks to understand.
.
I've seen folks who just went on and on and on... on some point till it was just ridiculous. Man's wisdom on hyperdrive. Explaining God's creation or some point of faith in such unending detail that it lost all relevance. The saddest part was not that they lost the interest of anyone listening to them... BUT... that they just personally got so full of themselves and the world. They became rotten fruit. Lord help that not to be us.
Keep Your Eye Upon The Donut
Song Lyrics
[Intro]
Sometimes a sweet deal
Costs much more than you will know…
If you look before you leap my friend
You might not have to go
[Verse 1]
Many a soul... got started right
Simple in their love of Jesus' light
Then dark fascination caught their eye
And took them to where evil demons fly
There’s nothing wrong with having things
But what's the price you'll pay?
Will you dump your faith in Christ?
And follow funky satan's way
[Pre-Chorus]
Remember how Jesus found you
Remember what He’s done
Don’t trade the joy He's given
For something here and gone
[Chorus]
Friend...
If you'd be a happy soul
Keep your eyes upon the donut
And not upon the hole
Keep your eyes on Jesus
Only He can save your soul
Keep your eyes on Heaven
Only Christ can make you whole
[Verse 2]
Some folks can talk for hours
Till Christ's simple truth gets lost
They polish up their clever words
And forget about the cross
Lord, keep my heart from growing cold
Keep my feet upon Your way
Let the light that You have given me
Show in how I live today
[Bridge]
So when that sweet deal comes around
I’ll ask before I choose:
“Will this help me win with You Lord?
Or will it make me lose?”
[Chorus]
Friend...
If you'd be a happy soul
Keep your eyes upon the donut
And not upon the hole
Keep your eyes on Jesus
Only He can save your soul
Keep your eyes on Heaven
Only Christ can make you whole [
Chorus Building & repeats]
Friend...
If you'd be a happy soul
Keep your eyes upon the donut
And not upon the hole
Keep your eyes on Jesus
Only He can save your soul
Keep your eyes on Heaven
Only Christ can make you whole
[Chorus Full Sing Along With Repeat voices]
Friend...
If you'd be a happy soul
Keep your eyes upon the donut
And not upon the hole
Keep your eyes on Jesus
Only He can save your soul
Keep your eyes on Heaven
Only Christ can make you whole
I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
Jesus, the same yesterday today and forever.
