The Really Raunchy Part Of Religion Is That Some People Try & Make It A Business. Don't Get Fooled By The Money Changers... Keep Christ First.

As the old Bob Dillon song says... "You've Gotta Serve Somebody." And Jesus more specifically said... "You cannot serve God & Mammon (money, wealth, and material possessions)." Matthew 6:24 So choose. As for me and my house... we will choose the Lord. How About You?

One of the greatest problems I have seen in Christianity is how people play footsie with the World. They treasure wealth and earthly possessions more than God. They make THINGS... their priority... and putting those THINGS 1st... makes them spiritually weak.

The thing is... God is not against wealth, and it helps to have the means to serve God. The question is... What Do You Put 1st? Many a man of God has been ruined by getting his priorities out of wack. Starting out initially ... on fire and with great conviction... he sadly fades into obscurity, losing the conviction and anointing to do what God told him to do in the 1st place. How About You?

The disciples left all... their nets... their businesses... everything... and went and followed Jesus. The result was... these stupid unlearned nobodies went out and changed the world. 2000 years later they are still talked of... and these humble men will rule and reign with Jesus forever. What will our story be... Guess we'll see.

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
