I always thought... "what a huge sacrifice it was for Christ to leave Heaven and come down here to be with us." But... in a dream the other night... I could see how Christ loved being with us.

He loved being simple and humble... from the manger to the cross. He treasured being with the lowly and the broken... the lost and the lonely... the outcasts and the rejected.
.
He enjoyed being here... He loved His life here... and He loved us all... SO MUCH. That love gave Him the impetus to die to save us... to save His friends... those that loved Him and received Him.

Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 That's the Love of God... That He would walk a lifetime in our shoes ... know our joys... and suffer our sorrows... and in the end... that He would die to save us.

That's Christ... My Savior... & My Friend. John 3:16

Hereby perceive we the love of God, BECAUSE... He laid down his life for us. 1st John 3:16

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But Christ died for us, while we were yet sinners. Romans 5:6 HE DID SO... BECAUSE... He could see the potential in us... what we could... and would become.

I absolutely love the daily inspirations on this website. I'm a single mom raising two kiddos and these bolts of light give me hope to keep fighting on. They really brighten my day. They remind me that nothing is too hard for Jesus. He never fails.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I was thinking about the future in this life, thinking how am I going to make it. He has always done so much for me in the past but what's going happen now? So, these are great promises.
