To start with... the real meaning of Halloween is the "The Day Before All Saints Day". Sadly... the enemy turns it into a worship of mostly evil entities and persons. 

.

It starts off innocent enough... kids dressing as little tigers, action figures and sports heros etc... but then come the ghosts and demons and monsters. Everywhere you go... it ghouls and goblins...  and witches flying across the moon. 

.

Candy companies love it as the kids pack it in... waking up to sore tummies and rotting teeth. Good for business everywhere.

.

As a kid I remember hitting it from sunset to 11pm, making a haul of about 3 huge grocery bags of free tooth rot. Still makes me smile... I thought I did so great. I also remember waking up the next morning sick as a dog and spending many an afternoon at the dentist, getting about 30 cavities filled.

The one thing that stood out to me more than all the faceless folks who filled my bag with junk... was this one older lady whose face I cannot forget. She was so sweet and gave us home baked cookies and little bible tracts about Jesus. I never read the tracts but I can remember her face to this day.

.

So Bottom Line... Know Your Enemy... Know His Tricks. Be sure of this... he knows people... and how weak and easily fooled they are. The Only Real MAGIC is in Christ... &... Our Only Real Protection Is In HIM!
