You’ve Gotta Have a Vision for Heaven... and God’s not going to give that to you... UNLESS... you receive Christ into your heart and life.

I’ve seen folks fight and struggle... lie and cheat... and do horrible stuff to gain the things of this world... power, money, luxury and seeming security. What A Mistake! What Foolishness!

But for them... that’s all they can see... that’s all they know. The Pride of Life... the Power of Ownership... The Here & Now... BUT... IT DOESN’T LAST. It’s a water-bucket with a hole in it... A BIG Hole! Here Today & Gone Tomorrow!

That’s what the enemy offered Christ when he took Him up on a mountain and showed Him all the Kingdoms of the earth in all their glory. The Lord was like... “You Idiot... Do You Think I’m Stupid. What Is All This Compared to Heaven?” MATTHEW 4:8-10

That vision of Heaven is why faithful souls can give up everything to follow Christ. It’s why they can be tortured and killed singing songs of praise. They Know His Kingdom Awaits.

Christ was none too keen to get crucified... BUT... He knew that’s what it would take to save His friends. He was willing to die to get us into Heaven.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
