In life... we all have those times when we... God's Children... look like we are losing... that we are defeated... down... and done for. BUT... Remember This... God Gets His Greatest Victories Out Of Seeming Defeat... And He Never... Ever Loses.

What greater defeat could there have ever been than Jesus being killed... murdered... crucified... but it wasn't the end of the story. He Rose From The Grave & Saved Us All!

So... no matter what you're going through... REMEMBER... it's not the end of your story either.

I remember being a young missionary of 20 in the port city of Tampico, Mexico. Sick, penniless and having just been robbed of everything I owned. We'd had wonderful fruit reaching and helping hundreds of people... but my life was a mess. Sick with pneumonia... we went to the beach and I came upon these verses... Romans 8:35-39. As I read them tears rolled down my face... and a conviction was born into my soul.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

That was 50 wonderful years ago. What a life he has given me. What A Victory Out Of Seeming Defeat!
