This was written by David in Psalms 23... but the funny thing is that David had a lot of trouble. He had to face giants... old King Saul tried to kill him... enemies fought him on every side... even his own son Absalom tried to overthrow him. But he was confident in this...

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life.  Psalm 27:4

David wanted the Lord 1st... more than riches... more than power... more than anything... and because he really did have that heart of loving the Lord 1st... God gave him everything else.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

.

The most blessed lives I have ever seen... were of those who put the Kingdom of God 1st. Maybe it wasn't in money or things... but it was the things that money can't buy... love, happiness, joy, peace of mind... and purpose for living.

You reap what you sow... and if you put His kingdom 1st... the King will put you 1st.
